Our worship service has a simple structure with one intention: That Jesus Christ receives all the Glory due unto His name.
For this reason our worship service always has songs that specifically emphasise Jesus Christ in name, His life, death, and resurrection, as well as lifting up grand Biblical themes such as salvation, forgiveness, heaven, etc. We prefer to keep a light approach to the style of music, hoping that it will bridge all generations and encourage them to worship Jesus in songs of praise.
Partaking of The Lord’s Supper together is something that is also important to our worship service. We do this in a style that maintains a focus on Christ’s purpose in giving Himself upon the cross for all mankind, remembering also that we are proclaiming his death until he returns.
We consider the preaching of the Word of God to be the key reason for believers to gather. Our primary method employed in preaching the Word is expository preaching. In using this method we are able to preach through whole books, keeping the teachings of scripture in context, thus bringing the greatest help to those who hear it. We do not discount the need for topical messages on occasions that are suitable.
We meet in the Brotherhood of St Lawrence building at 24-26 High Street, Frankston at 10:30 am every Sunday morning. View Map
