In Australia, we have so much and therefore seem to have lost the generosity which is pictured in the book of Acts. Most in the church today are content to build their own empires, and live their lives apart from the needs of others.

One of the aspects of Acts is the readiness of the disciples to follow the leading of the spirit, to preach the gospel and to give account for our faith.

So why is it that the western church looks good on the outside, but on the inside is filthy and rotten? It does not sound like the power of God falling on those in the western churches.

Spiritual Excess is a ditch on each side of the road. Both the ridiculous antics of the Charasmaniacal churches, and the legalistic workings of the hyper-calvinistic ultra-conservative churches are extremes in spirituality.
