The Belt of Truth

We can stand against the wiles of the Devil. We are caught up in a spiritual battle. It is warfare, not sport. We are fighting against a very real enemy, who has very real powers and a very real plan for us. We are not defenceless however. God has given us the right equipment that we need to survive, for the battle is constant.

George's Testimony

George was raised a Catholic, and thought he was a good person. When his wife died, his son was instrumental in helping him understand his sin and his need for a saviour. Listen to George explain how God brought him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Phil's Testimony

Phil went from a pot smokin used car dealer, to one who acknowledged that God should take his life.
God did take his life, but in a very different way to what phil intended. God instead saved him.

(NB: not that there is anything wrong with being a user car dealer)

It will never happen to me…is so often what we say,
But do we really think that time… will keep us from that day?
Do we wake up in the morning… and go to bed at night,
Never giving a single thought… to our neighbour’s dreadful plight.

If he passed away tomorrow… and stood before our King,
Can you imagine his utter terror… when he sees all of his sin?

Chasing Our Sin

Then, all of a sudden, with a noise like a horse shedding its saddle, the load on Christian’s back fell off. It just fell off, and rolled down the far side of the hill.

He ran after it, as if it were fill of his dearest belongings, before remembering how he had longed to be rid of it.

Marysville Rebuild

Well, alot of us i’m sure are having trouble moving our muscles today.
We just spent a full day up at Marysville helping to rebuild a house.
(Marysville was the town that got almost completely wiped off the map by the bush fires)

A friend who lives up there, lost three of his hand-built log houses.
